whats up with social media?

before i start my blog post for today, let me get this straight, this will just be my personal views and has got nothing to do with anyone else...


seriously speaking, i am getting bored with social media... hey!! its not because i am against the technology, i just hate the way people misused it. social media is not, let me repeat it is NOT a platform for YOU to update people about personal information especially if it IMPORTANT! for example if you want to update your mobile number, do you post on your status instead of mass messaging (sms)? come on...! NOT everyone on your friends list are reading your status every second! wake up people! stop acting like a big diva on social media.


Where is everyone's personal touch? I wouldn't mind using social media for promotion / advertisement or sharing great information for the benefit of those reading it... just a word of precaution: reflect ourselves before we post anything on social media... remember cyberwellness rule and netiquette!
